Rose Ballet was started by Miss Lauren in 2016, she wanted to create fun but diciplined magical ballet lessons for all children making sure they were still gaining the amazing benefits of ballet and could also be within their school environment.
Miss Lauren found a love of ballet from a young age. She was offered two Scholarships at the age of 10 for two top dance schools and was part of many West End Theatre productions growing up. After further training & completing her IDTA ballet, tap and modern exams she then went on to attend the Brit School of Performing Arts and Technology. After graduating from here with all round Distinctions and a Diploma she spent 3 years travelling Europe as part of a dance troupe performing at Galas and Theatres. Some of Miss Lauren's theatre performance credits are, The London Palladium, Theatre Royal Windsor for The Duke of Edinburgh, The Grosvenor House Hotel Park Lane, Fairfield Halls and The MTV music awards,
Miss Lauren realised how lucky she was for the opportunities she had been given and wanted to inspire all children to dance. She got involved with local dance classes and began working as a teaching assistant within ballet schools.
Understanding that going to a different environment to learn something new can be quite daunting for some children Miss Lauren had the idea to bring ballet to primary schools as well as running outside classes. She approached her local school and was given the opportunity to run a Ballet club. The school received such positive feedback from parents, children's confidence grew within the classes and lots of other benefits were noticed. As it was proven to be very popular and in high demand she was then recommended to other schools and approached to start more. This is where Rose Ballet began!
Rose Ballet is now established in many schools & runs over 40 classes a week. Miss Lauren now has an amazing team of like minded Teachers. They all work hard to keep classes growing and have a passion to introduce children to ballet and dance in a caring, inspiring, fun & structured environment.
